Racine- James Charles Hamilton, 69, passed away on Monday, April 23, 2012 at his residence.
James was born in Racine to the late George and Viola (nee: Kuklinski) Hamilton on February 16, 1943 and lived most of his life in Racine county. On March 28, 1964, he was united in marriage to Nancy (nee: Youngs) and together they shared 48 years.
James had been employed by Case for over 30 years until his retirement in 1992. He was an avid gardener who enjoyed working in his flower beds and, he also enjoyed going to classic car shows.
He will be dearly missed by his wife, Nancy; children, Terri (Andy) Hapanowicz, Kimberly (Roman) Anchondo, and Douglas Hamilton; daughter-in-law, Maritza Hamilton; sisters, Marlene Ferg and Marjorie (Donald) Anderson; sister-in-law, Peggy Behling; brother-in-law, Tony Behling; grandchildren, Kayla Hamilton, Devon Maritch-Moyer, Brooke and Jessica Anchondo, Lukas and Gabriel Hapanowicz, Serena Hamilton, and Bailey Metz; his cat, Chloe; close friends Ken Otwaska and Richard Krause as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Randal Hamilton, parents, Viola and George Hamilton, and brother, George Hamilton, Jr.
Memorial services in honor of James were private. Inurnment took place at West Lawn Memorial Park.
