Humberto Rodriguez Escobar, 69, of Racine, Wisconsin, passed away suddenly at Ascension - All Saints Hospital on Wednesday, May 22, 2024.
Humberto was born on January 12, 1955, in Los Pinzanes, Tejupilco, México, México, to the late Lorenzo Rodriguez Albiter and Natividad Escobar Benitez.
Humberto and Marcela Fajardo joined in marriage on July 2, 1999, in Tejupilco, México, México, sharing 25 years of love and partnership together.
Humberto's life was a testament to his love for food and people. He found joy in bringing family and friends together over delicious meals, creating memories that will endure beyond his passing. His passion for food extended beyond his own table as he volunteered on farms and mentored others in restaurant kitchens and business practices. He encouraged aspiring entrepreneurs, imparting his wisdom and motivating them to pursue their dreams.
Known for his strong work ethic, Humberto was a hardworking man who dedicated himself to his craft. His generosity and warmth made him a beloved figure in his community. He had a knack for storytelling and a quick wit, often sharing jokes that brought laughter to those around him. Many regarded him as a father figure, appreciating his sincere advice and straightforward nature.
Above all, Humberto cherished his family, friends, and co-workers. He cared deeply for their well-being and took pride in nurturing meaningful connections. His legacy lives on through the countless lives he touched with his kindness and generosity.
Humberto will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Marcela Rodriguez Fajardo; children: Ivy Rodriguez and Humberto Rodriguez Jr.; grandchildren: Saleen Rodriguez and Alexander Logan Rodriguez; brothers: Octavio, Leonel, Lorenzo, Abel, and Leo Rodriguez; Godmother, Maria Rodriguez Escobar; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and numerous friends.
Service for Humberto will begin at the Wilson Funeral Home with a visitation on Thursday evening, May 30, 2024, from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM. A rosary service will start at 8:00 PM. Service will continue at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Friday, May 31, 2024, beginning with visitation at 11:00 AM until the Funeral Mass at 1:00 PM with Fr. Juan Manuel Camacho celebrating. A committal service will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park.
Humberto's immediate family extends a heartfelt appreciation to his brothers, relatives, friends, and acquaintances for their unwavering love and support during this difficult time.

Humberto y Marcela Fajardo se unieron en matrimonio el 2 de julio de 1999 en Tejupilco, México, compartiendo 25 años de amor y compañerismo.

El servicio para Humberto comenzará en la Funeraria Wilson con un velorio el jueves 30 de mayo de 2024 por la noche, de 5:00 P.M. a 9:00 P.M. A las 8:00 pm comenzará el servicio del rosario. El servicio continuará en la Iglesia Católica del Sagrado Corazón el viernes 31 de mayo de 2024, comenzando con la visita a las 11:00 AM hasta la Misa de Funeral a la 1:00 PM con la celebración del Padre Juan Manuel Camacho. A continuación, se celebrará un servicio religioso en el West Lawn Memorial Park.
