Hilda Selma Rognsvoog's Obituary
Racine- Hilda S. (nee: Johnson) Rognsvoog, 91, passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at Lincoln Village.
Hilda was born in Racine on July 3, 1921. On May 14, 1944, she was united in marriage to Richard Rognsvoog, he preceded her in death on August 30, 1984.
Hilda had been a lifelong resident of Racine. She loved being with her family and traveling. Hilda was a member of Pentecost Lutheran Church and was involved with many of her church's activities as well as many other organizations throughout the city.
She will be dearly missed by her son and daughter-in-law, Richard (Diane) Rognsvoog, two daughters and sons-in-law, FayAnn (David) Schimanski, and Catherine (Mark) Johnson all of Racine; five grandchildren, Adam Schimanski, Amy (Dave) Eschmann, both of Racine, Richard (Aimie) Rognsvoog, Katherine (Dan) Shillinglaw, both of Milwaukee, and Steve (Amy) Rognsvoog of Deforest; five great-grandchildren as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to meet the family for a time of remembrance of Hilda's life at Wilson Funeral Home on Thursday, March 7, 2013 from 5:00-7:00pm. Private services and interment will take place at West Lawn Memorial Park at a later date.
