Harry Schulz's Obituary
Racine- Mr. Schulz, 91, passed away at Ridgewood Care Center on Thursday, October 9, 2008.
He was born in Racine on June 30, 1917 to the late Walter and Meta (nee: Wiese) Schulz and had been a resident of Racine County all his life. He was united in marriage to Margaret B. Ronaldson in Racine, on November 30, 1946.
He was an active member of Olympia Brown Unitarian Universalist Church and was best known for his love of rollerskating, ice skating, gardening, beekeeping, and his home apple orchard. He was very proud of having built his own home.
He will be dearly missed by his wife, Margaret; two children, Sandra R. Wright and Harry W. (Peggy) Schulz, all of Racine; two grandchildren, Laura and Rebecca Schulz; and one brother, Walter (Wayne) Schulz Jr; and many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Richard, Robert (Dorothy), and Raymond Schulz and one sister, Ruth (Silas) Stice.
A private memorial service for Mr. Schulz will be held at West Lawn Memorial Park. Memorials may be directed to the American Alzheimers Association and Olympia Brown Unitarian Universalist Church.
