Gloria Jean Hyduke's Obituary
Sheboygan-Gloria Jean (nee Wallace) Hyduke, 68, passed away surrounded by her loving family at Froedtert Hospital on Saturday, March 14, 2020. Gloria was born on January 26, 1952, to the late Harry Sr. and Bertha (nee Bohn) Wallace in Racine. She was united in marriage to Michael Hyduke on August 9, 1980, at Memorial Hall in Racine. Gloria earned her Associate’s degree at North East WI Technical College and a Bachelor’s degree at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. She worked as a high school math teacher, and The Journal Times in the advertising department. She went on to work as a programmer analyst for 23 years at United Health Insurance. She was a very intelligent person who had a passion for math and research in history and politics Gloria loved animals, flowers, and had a green thumb. She was a sweet, glowing ray of sunshine. Gloria was always positive and never had anything negative to say about anyone. Many people admired her for the person she was. She loved her family and never missed an opportunity to spend time with them. Gloria also loved to watch cooking and baking shows as well as being an avid reader. She will be deeply missed by many. Left to cherish Gloria’s memory is her loving husband, Michael Hyduke; siblings: Harry Jr. (Linda) Wallace, Kathryn Newman and a niece Alison Newman, Turner (Tina Rands) Wallace, and Andrew (Steve Steinhauer) Wallace; mother-in-law, Beatrice Laverne (Scholzen) Hyduke; brothers-in-law: Jim (Cookie) Hyduke, Patrick (Terry) Hyduke, and Timothy (Bethany) Hyduke; sisters-in-law: Kathleen Hyduke and Debra (Frank) Hultin; nieces and nephews: Brian, Jessica, Bethany, Amanda, Scott, John, Kyle, Erin, Bethany, Meredith, Joel, Tara, Mari, Ryan, Andrew, and Benjamin; 3 great-nephews along with one on the way; as well as many other relatives and friends. A celebration of Gloria’s life will be held at the Wilson Funeral Home on Friday, March 20, 2020, at 1 PM. Family and friends are invited to a time of visitation at the funeral home on Friday from 11 AM until the time of service. Gloria will be laid to rest at Holy Cross Cemetery on Highway 32. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the doctors and nurses at the Center for Advance Care and Oncology Department at Froedtert Hospital for their loving care for Gloria.
