RACINE – Gladys Jeanette Hart, age 94, passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2016 at Oak Ridge Care Center in Union Grove.
Gladys was born on May 11, 1921 in Garfield Osseo, WI to the late John and Gena (Hanson) Johnson. She married her love, Delos Hart on September 13, 1938 in Winona, MN. Gladys was a homemaker and a devoted mother. She especially loved being a grandmother.
Gladys’ memory will be cherished by one daughter, Shirley (Ronald) Culp; one sister, Helen (Kenneth) Flones; one brother, Donald Johnson; one daughter-in-law, Christel E. Hart; one son-in-law, James F. Hansen; grandchildren, Debra Robuck, James (Michelle) Hansen, Charles Hansen, Eugene Hansen, Troy (Michele) Hansen, Mary Jo Gibney, Ronald Hart Jr., Judy Ann Sweeney, Dawn Montayo, Eugene Hart, Cindy (Todd) Jacobs, Andy Mertins, Tammy Teach, Randy Duncan, Michael Hart, Robert (Vicky) Hart, Shelly (William) Nelson, Joel Hart, Lisa Hutchins, Linda (Kevin) McGee and many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Delos Charles Hart; daughters: Betty Hansen and Kay Duncan; sons: Ronald Hart, James Hart, Edwin Hart and Robert Hart; grandson, Phillip Hart; special friend, Curtis Haugland; four brothers: Arnold, Joseph, Bert, and Stanley Johnson; two sisters: Bernice Halverson, and Donna Leonhardt.
Funeral services for Gladys will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, January 25, 2016 at Wilson Funeral Home (1212 Lathrop Avenue, Racine, WI) Visitation will be held on Monday, January 25, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be held at West Lawn Memorial Park on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at 12:00 noon. Online condolences may be expressed at www.wilsonfuneralhomeracine.com.
