Gerald F. Hinderholtz passed away on April 18th, 2018, at age 92. He was born October 3rd, 1925 in Racine where he was a lifelong resident. He was the son of Franklin and Jule (Jardny) Hinderholtz. Jerry married Joan Nelson in Ch Read Obituary
Mr Hinderholtz was a great teacher. Racine was lucky to have him as a teacher.
I never met Gerald but am struck by the father-son resemblance. I know how much Bob loved his father and how he thought about him every day. I wish I had known Gerald but am glad to have the opportunity to share my time with Bob. Our condolences to the Hinderholtz family. Our thoughts and prayers are with them, and we hope they cherish the memories of their father as much as we do ours.

What a great science teacher/mentor! Jerry’s hands-in science center was such an amazing experience,
offering teachers low-cost, invaluable, fun-filled experiments to use in the classroom. My students heard about Jerry every year with sailboat races, sandwheel machines, and more. I will always remember Jerry. My sympathy to the family.
