Gaylord was such a great neighbor. Dolly and I lived at 1322 Indiana street for fifteen years and he was always there to lend a hand to a couple of ‘damsels in distress’. He will always have a special place In my heart as I continue to share my memories with my friends. I pray for peace for Delores and the family.
We are so sorry for the loss of such a fine man. Will always remember camping at Kentuck Campground with Gaylord and Delores. We camped for many years while they were camp host. They made the best campfire pizza and told the best campfire stories. We talked all through the year on the telephone but couldn't wait for June to come so we could camp with them again. The past few years have not been the same camping without them. We have our fire tri pod that we cook on that Gaylord made and reminds us of him each summer. Gaylord and Delores thank you so much for the fun and fond memories. You will always be a part of our lives!
I will never forget the way Uncle Gaylord pretended he took my nose! Even as an adult, it never got old. I will miss you Unc!
