Frederick Larry Stoker's Obituary
Racine- Mr. Frederick L. Stoker, 72, passed away at Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare- All Saints on Friday, July 13, 2012 after a long illness.
Frederick was born in Black River Falls on April 16, 1940 to the late Algie and Inez (nee: Lien) Stoker. On September 20, 1969, he was united in marriage to Patricia Ann (nee: Mojzis) in Chicago, IL.
Fred has formerly been employed with Howard Industries and J.I. Case before his retirement in 1992. He had also proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. An avid outdoors man, Fred enjoyed fishing, hunting, shooting trap, golfing and Ham Radio operation (WD9JIH). He also enjoyed flying radio controlled model airplanes, and had been a member of the Racine Radio Control Model Airplane Club.
Frederick will be dearly missed by his wife, Patricia; brothers, Spencer (Beverly), Norman (Renee), Richard (Gladys), and Raymond (Evelyn) Stoker; sister, Shelby (Clark) Dyess, as well as many nieces, nephews, and his two beloved pets, Toto and Trisha. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Henry; and sister-in-law, Beverly.
A memorial service in honor of Fred will be held at Wilson Funeral Home on Thursday, July 19, 2012 at 11:00am with Rev. Randal Poppe officiating. Relatives and friends may meet with the family on Thursday, from 10:00am until the time of service. Inurnment will take place at Upper Beaver Creek Cemetery in Black River Falls at a later date.
