Frederick Hansche Jr.'s Obituary

Frederick was born on April 29, 1924 in Racine to Frederick and Theresa Hansche, as the youngest of 10 children. He graduated from Park High School in 1942 and then began farming full time. He was united in marriage to Ariel Gloria Miller on June 12, 1948, in Richland Center, WI.
Frederick was a devoted member of Taylor Avenue Church of the Nazarene his entire life. He was the church treasurer for 50 years, served as a board member, missionary president, usher, and Sunday school teacher, and enjoyed singing in the choir. He received the Distinguished Service Award for his service to the church. He took numerous Work and Witness trips around the world to build churches, and also worked with Habitat for Humanity, and Harvest Outreach. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. Frederick was a successful farmer for over 60 years, and finally retired as owner of both Hansche Produce Co. and Hansche Sod Nursery in 2002. He loved camping, hunting, fishing, canoeing, and being outdoors. Most importantly, Frederick adored spending time with his family whom he loved very much. He lived in Racine until 2004, when he moved to Bourbonnais, IL to be near his daughters. His motto was, “Only one life will soon be past, only what’s done for Christ will last!”
