Eva Kober's Obituary
Mrs. Kober, 89, passed away on Monday, Dec. 8, 2008. She was born in Racine on Nov. 16, 1919 to the late Christ and Katherine Klaus. She lived in Racine for 83 years. She was united in marriage to John Kober on May 25, 1940.
She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, former member of Holy Cross Lutheran Ladies Guild, and Lutheran High Ladies.
She is survived by a son, John Kober, Jr. ( Susan Niemi), daughters, Kathy (Tom) Tryber, Mary (Gary) Peterson, sons-in-law, Ken Nielsen and John Mueller, seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and one sister, Emma Rodgers. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Kober, daughters, Barbara and Carol, sisters, brothers, and other relatives.
Funeral services will be held at the Wilson Funeral Home1212 Lathrop Ave, on Thursday, Dec. 11, 2008 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Jeffrey Mortenson officiating. Interment will be at West Lawn Memorial Park. Friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Thursday from 1 p.m. until the time of service.
