Eva Artmann's Obituary
Racine - Eva I. Artmann, 92, passed away at Elizabeth Residence on Tuesday, September 17, 2013.
Eva. I. Artmann was born in Denmark to the late Kresten and Bertheline (nee: Pedersen) Christensen. She was united in marriage to Gunnar Villy Artmann in Denmark on June 30, 1944. He preceded her in death on January 4, 1997. Eva lived in Racine for most of her adult life. She was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Resurrection.
Eva will be dearly missed by her daughters, Kirsten (Jay) Weiss, Linda (Steven Prodoehl) Artmann, and Barbara (John) Blickle; grandchildren, Jonathan (Megan) Weiss, Matthew (Lauren) Weiss, Ellen Prodoehl, Eric Prodoehl, and MaryAnn Blickle; great-grandchildren, Addilyn, Peyton, Cooper, Avery and Hunter. She is also survived by her sister, Ulla (Erik) Jorgensen, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
A Memorial service will be held at the Lutheran Church of the Resurrection, 322 Ohio St, Racine on Sunday, September 22, 2013 at 5:00 pm with Pastor James Barsch officiating. Public visitation will be at the church from 3:00 pm until time of service. There will be a private entombment at West Lawn Memorial Park.
