Esperanza Gallegos De Prieto's Obituary
Racine – Esperanza Gallegos De Prieto, 81, passed away on Saturday, October 21, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.
Esperanza was born to the late Tomas and Tomasa Gallegos (nee Ramirez) on February 14, 1942, in Santa Maria del Oro, Durango, Mexico.
Esperanza was a homemaker. Her family was very important, and she cherished the moments spent with them. Esperanza was a great cook and enjoyed making food for family and friends. She liked going outside for walks and tending to her flowers. Esperanza’s faith was important, and she often prayed.
Esperanza will be deeply missed by her children: Ines (Amelia) Prieto, Martina Prieto, Maria Elena, Gabino Prieto, Jose Prieto and Jesus Prieto, Pablo Ramirez, Alejandro Ramirez and Adrian Ramirez; as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Esperanza was preceded in death by her husband, Mario Prieto; sisters: Socorro and Eusebia Gallegos; and brother, Lino Gallegos.
A visitation for Esperanza will be from 5:00P.M. to 7:00P.M. on Friday, October 27, at Wilson Funeral Home in Racine. Services will be held at 10:00A.M. on Saturday, October 28, at St. Mark Catholic Church in Kenosha (1300 73rd Street, Kenosha, WI 53143). Interment will follow immediately after services on Saturday at Saint George Cemetery in Kenosha.
