Ernest James Bunch's Obituary
Kenosha—Ernest J. Bunch, 67, passed away on Monday, July 18, 2016.
Ernest was born on December 8, 1948 to the late Robert W. and Jean V. (McElevy) Bunch. For many years, Ernest was a self-employed roof contractor. He was a member of Kenosha United Christian Church. Ernest enjoyed hunting, fishing, car races, and cribbage. He liked to travel up north and go camping. Ernest had a passion for music, especially Elvis, Charlie Pride, and Buddy Holly. He was an avid Bears and WWE fan. Most importantly Ernest was a family man who loved every second he had with his children, grandchildren, family and friends.
Ernest will be dearly missed by his children, Kristina (David) Warner, Katie LaFever, Roy Bunch, and Timmy Aldridge; his step-children, Steve LaFever, John LaFever, Martin Jakubowski, Nicholas Jakubowski, and Daniel LaFever; his grandchildren, Makayla, Makenziee, and Makaden LaFever, Makylee, Makaylynn, and Makyler Warner; his siblings, Marilynn (Gene) Hart, Patricia Marshall, Charles Bunch Sr., and John, Brian, and Andrew Bunch; his special nephew, Chuck; his longtime companion, Debbie Darracott; and his good friend, James Darracott “The Old Hilbilly”. Ernest was preceded in death by his siblings, Carolyn Tucker, Robert Bunch Jr., Walter M. Bunch, and Stanley Bunch.
Funeral Services for Ernest will be held on Thursday, July 28, 2016 at 12:30 PM at Wilson Funeral Home, 1212 Lathrop Avenue, Racine, WI. Relatives and friends may meet with the family from 10:30 AM until the time of service at 12:30 PM. Interment will follow at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Ernest’s honor may be made to the family.
