Erich Alois Wagner's Obituary
Erich Alois Wagner, age 73, passed away on March 24, 2018 at Ascension All Saints Hospital in Racine, Wisconsin.
Erich was born on March 7, 1945 in Bruch, Germany to the late Josef and Berta (nee Gebhart) Wagner. He lived in Racine since 1956. He was united in marriage to the late Sandra L. (nee Martin) Brahm on February 20, 1982.
Erich was a graduate of Washington Park High School. He was proud to serve in the U.S. Army. He retired from In-Sink-Erator after over 20 years of service.
He enjoyed golf, watching and listening to sports especially the Green Bay Packers and the Brewers. But, most of all, he was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and a good friend to many. He will be missed by all.
Left to cherish Erich’s memory are his daughter, Justine Lee (Bill) Berta; son, John Paul (Barbara) Brahm; granddaughter, Christi Lee Berta; step-granddaughter, Melissa Wagner; step-grandson, Brandon Wagner; brothers: Kurt (Dolly) Wagner and Ernst Wagner; sisters: Christa (Graham Leupp) Wagner and Erika (Steve) Hetland; sister-in-law, Patty (Dennis) LaFave, and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Erich’s life will be held on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at 12:00 noon at Wilson Funeral Home (1212 Lathrop Ave., Racine, WI) with Holly Anderle officiating. A time of visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, March 31 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be at West Lawn Memorial Park.
