Eric Krause's Obituary
Mr. Krause, 61, passed away on Friday evening, Sept. 5, 2008 at his home following a short illness. He was born in Cornell, WI on Feb. 2, 1947 to the late Erich and Alma (nee: Gerber) Krause. He graduated from Cornell High School in 1965. He grew up in the Cobban area. He moved to Racine, where he worked for Racine Unified School District for 30 years retiring in 2006.
A son, Michael and a sister, Linda of Chippewa Falls, four cousins, special friends Michael Ziebarth of Chippewa Falls and theYvonne Troen and family of Racine, survive him.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, several aunts and uncles.
A memorial service will be held at the Wilson Funeral Home 1212 Lathrop Ave., on Saturday, Sept. 13, 2008 at 6 p.m. A committal service will be held in Cornell, WI on Sept. 20, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. Friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Saturday, Sept. 13 from 4 p.m. until the time of service.
