Eric S. Clark
BURLINGTON - Eric S. Clark, 78, passed away on Sunday, September 14, 2008, at Mount Carmel Medical and Rehabilitation Center. Eric was born in Pasadena, Calif. on May 13, 1930, to Kenneth D. and Ida (nee: Macpherson) Clark. On July 18, 1953, he married Janet Tomlinson at Grace Chapel Lutheran Church in Racine. He graduated from Northwestern University in 1952 and went to graduate school at the University of Wisconsin-Madi- son. He served in Germany with the United States Army Military Intelligence during the Korean Conflict. He worked at the Harris Trust Company of Chicago, Ill. and the First Wisconsin Trust Company in Milwaukee. Eric retired to Pan Yack Park, Eagle Lake, Kansasville, and currently had been living in Burlington. He loved golf, boating, genealogy, travel, and classical music. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Janet; sons, Bryan (Bridget) of Salinas, Calif. and Kevin (Ginny) of Racine; and grandchildren, Laura, Jane, Haley, and Ian. He is also survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Mariette and Philip Orth of Naples, Fla.; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother and sister-in-law, Dr. Kenneth M and Dr. Odette Clark of Reno, Nev. A Memorial service will be held at the Wilson Funeral Home, 1212 Lathrop Avenue, on Friday, September 19, 2008, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Holly Anderle officiating. Private inurnment will be held for the family. Friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
