Emery Creuziger's Obituary
RACINE-- Emery L. Creuziger, 90, passed away peacefully on August 17, 2013.
Emery L. Creuziger was born to the late Charles and Iva (nee: Brandt) Creuziger on March 3, 1923 in Sprague, Wisconsin. He attended school at William Horlick High School. Emery was united in marriage to the love of his life, Virginia Ziesmer, on September 4, 1943.
Emery had many hobbies that he loved. He collected stamps and coins, and enjoyed farming and gardening. Emery loved square dancing with Virginia, and was a member of the Ridgerunners Square Dancing club. He also had a passion for Case Tractors. Emery spent 25 years at J.I. Case Tractor Manufacturing, where his hobby and work combined. Emery was a loving and caring family man and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Emery is survived by his son, Dennis Creuziger. Emery and Virginia raised their granddaughters, Sara (Ryan) Tennessen, Jessica (Rob) Kinsley, and Laura Creuziger (Brian Schoenbeck). He is also survived by five other grandchildren, Jason, Gina, Amanda, Jon, and Craig; great granddaughters, Katelyn and Morgan; great grandson, Ethan; and brothers, Elwood and George Creuziger. Emery was preceded in death by his loving wife, Virginia; his sons, Robin and Larry; and his brother, Donald Creuziger.
Funeral Services will be held at Evangelical United Methodist Church, 212- 11th St, Racine, on Friday August 23, 2013 at 10:00AM with Pastor John Fleming officiating. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet with the family on Thursday, August 22, 2013 at Wilson Funeral Home from 5:00PM to 8:00PM and on Friday, August 23, 2013 from 9:00AM until the time of service.
