Ellen Miller's Obituary
Mrs. Miller, passed away at BSL/Clare Bridge in Kenosha on Dec. 20, 2009. She was born in Owens, WI on July 9, 1922 to the late Carl and Hilda (nee: Koski) Wickstrom. She lived most of her life in Racine. She was united in marriage to Stan Miller in Racine on July 27, 1968, they were married for 40 years.
She was employed at Walker Manufacturing, airline reservationists and was a cake decorator for Linstroms Bakery. She retired in 1981 and moved to Florida for 27 years. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed knitting and reading.
She is survived by one daughter, Nancy (Edward) Bellmore of Kenosha, three grandchildren, Lynn (Mike) Meyer of Gilbert, IL, Jerry (Carolyn) Bellmore of Bristol and Robbyn Erickson of Racine; three great-grandchildren, two sisters, Helen Millimaki of Weaverville, CA and Dorothy (Harold) Popadic of Racine, along with her lifelong friend Margie Oleszak, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stan on Sept. 27, 2008, a son John A. Erickson and a brother-in-law, Ted Millimaki.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Wilson Funeral Home 1212 Lathrop Ave on Monday, Dec. 28, 2009 at 2 p.m. with Chaplain Terry Peterson officiating. Interment will be at West Lawn Memorial Park. Friends may meet with the family at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until the time of service.
Memorials in memory of Mrs. Miller to Hospice Alliance, 10220 Prairie Ridge Blvd., Pleasant Prairie, and WI 53158 have been suggested.
