Elizabeth Poplawski's Obituary
Fox Point - Mrs. Elizabeth L. Poplawski (nee: Pavlic), 96, passed away at Columbia St. Mary's Hospital in Mequon on February 16, 2008.
Elizabeth was born in Kenosha to the late John and Anna (nee: Marensek) Pavlic on November 12, 1911 and had lived in Racine for most of her life. In Racine, she was united in marriage to Charles M. Poplawski on November 28, 1935. He preceded her in death on March 14, 1989.
Mrs. Poplawski was a member of St. Lucy's Catholic Church.
Elizabeth is survived by her daughter, Janice (Jay) Warner of Mequon; two grandchildren, Brian (Lisa) Ganser and Scott (Michelle) Ganser; 6 great grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law, Albert (Leona) Pavlic; and other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by her two sisters and one brother.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Lucy's Catholic Church on Thursday, February 21, 2008 at 10 am with Fr. Mark Jones celebrating. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the church on Thursday morning from 9 am until the time of Mass.
