Elizabeth Marie Glittenberg's Obituary
UNION GROVE- Elizabeth Marie Glittenberg, age 83, went to be with her Lord and Savior, on August 9, 2017 with her family at her side.
On June 5, 1934, Elizabeth (Betty) was born to Roscoe and Erma (nee Martin) Stilwell in Bemidji, MN. She was united in marriage to Carl Kenyon Glittenberg in Racine on October 22, 1960. Elizabeth worked at Moody Bible Institute, Osters, and Tupperware, but her longest tenure was at Racine Bible Church where she was the secretary for 21 years.
Betty was a member of Racine Bible Church since 1960. She loved to do counted cross stitch, embroidery, scrapbooking and card making until she had a stroke in 2007. Betty was fond of reading Christian novels. In her later years, she enjoyed adult coloring books and reading.
Left to cherish Betty’s memory are her daughters: Joy (Duane) Tader of Bemidji, MN and Judy (Gregg) Bissett of Union Grove, WI; her grandchildren: Kenyon (Brooke) Tader and Daniel Tader of Bemidji, MN, Gracia Tader, serving in Mexico City, Marcus, Lucas, Alex, and Baylee Bissett all of Union Grove, WI; her brother, Glenn (Carrie) Stilwell of Bothel, WA; and her nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews who are too many to name.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Kenyon Glittenberg on January 10, 1988; her parents: Roscoe and Erma Stilwell; her sister, Judy Seibert, and her brother, Dick Stilwell.
A Funeral Service for Betty will be held on Monday, August 21, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. A time of visitation will be held at the church on Monday, August 21 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
