Edward Ruppel's Obituary
Mr. Ruppel, 85, passed away at his home on Saturday, July 29, 2006. He was born in Racine to the late Alexander and Marie (nee: Linker) Ruppel, and lived all of his life in Racine.
He was employed at Racine Tree as a Tool and Dye maker for 42 years retiring on June 1, 1986. He was a member of Hunting and Fishing Clubs.
He is survived by two sisters; Mrs. Martha Sandin, Mrs Esther Heffel both of Racine; sister-in-law Romayne Ruppel; brother-in-law, Frank Putra; nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives. He was preceded in death by a brother Alex Ruppel; two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Chadwick, Mrs. Lillian Putra; three brothers-in-law, James Chadwick, Roy Sandin and Earl Heffel.
Funeral services will be held at the Wilson Funeral Home 1212 Lathrop Ave., on Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2006 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. Friends may call on Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2006 from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
Memorials in memory of Mr. Ruppel to Lutheran Chapel of the Cross have been suggested.
