Duane David McClure's Obituary
Racine-Duane David McClure, 62, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 28, 2024.
Duane was born to Grant and Arlene (nee Piper) McClure on August 9, 1961, in Racine. He served his country in the United States Navy. Duane has worked as a maintenance technician at Rust-Oleum in Pleasant Prairie for over 30 years. He was an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs and the Green Bay Packers. Duane enjoyed watching his nephew play football at UW-Whitewater. Duane also enjoyed spending time with his family and many friends. Duane especially valued his friendship with Tommy.
Duane will be deeply missed by his mother, Arlene Bankenbush; siblings: Michael (Debbie) McClure, Christine (Greg) Wilkinson, Erin (Darren) Decker, and Shane (Nicole) McClure; nieces and nephews: Justin (Chrissy) Ankley, Kayla (Jason) Zeno, Kyle Wilkinson, Courtney Decker, Austin, Wish, and Po McClure; great-nieces and great-nephews: Callie, Wyatt, Theodore, and Waylon; along with many other relatives and friends.
Duane was preceded in death by his father, Grant McClure; and stepfather, Bob Bankenbush.
A celebration of Duane's life will be held at the Wilson Funeral Home on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at 12:00 PM. A time of visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 AM until the time of service.
