Douglas Heberling's Obituary
Mr. Heberling, 63, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2007 at Fawcett Memorial in Port Charlotte, Fl. He was born in Racine on Nov. 12, 1943 to Jacob and Helen (nee: Hansen) Heberling. He lived in the Racine area most of his life and the last ten years he lived in Florida.
In LasVegas, NV, in the Chapel of Love on July 17, 1985, he was united in marriage to the former Barbara Jorgensen. Doug operated Heberling Investments for many years. He was a former member of S.W.L.A.
Doug is survived by his loving wife, Barbara G. Heberling; his mother, Helen Heberling; twin brother, Darvin (Marita) Heberling, life long friend, Lynn Smith (No CID), special niece and nephew, Michelle (Paul) Lindl, Todd (Karen) Jorgensen, dear friends, Lee (Michelle) Bernhardt; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends also survive.
Funeral services will be held at the Wilson Funeral Home 1212 Lathrop Ave. on Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Holly Anderle officiating. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. Friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Monday evening, Oct. 29, 2007 from 4-7 p.m.
Memorials in memory of Doug to the Heart Association or National Kidney Foundation have been suggested.
