Dorothy Jane Trieber's Obituary
Dorothy Jane Trieber, 91, went home to her Lord and Savior on Sunday, February 14, 2016 with her loving family by her side.
Dorothy was born on September 25, 1924 in Racine to the late George and Borghilde (Helgesen) Hostad. Dorothy was united in marriage to Andrew Trieber on July 22, 1944 in Racine, WI. She worked at Walker Manufacturing as an executive secretary to the president. Dorothy was a long time member of Calvary Memorial Church and was very involved there teaching Sunday school and working in the nursery. Family was very important to Dorothy and she made it a priority to attend her grandchildren’s events and family get-togethers.
Dorothy will be dearly missed by her daughter, Lynn (Reverend Gary) Watts; son, Dwight (Nancy) Trieber; grandchildren, Tiffani (Al) Wollum, Tate (Kelly) Watts, Tyge (Jennifer) Watts, Tiara Watts, Dwight Trieber II, Erika Havn, and Monica (Steve) Richmond; great-grandchildren, Allie Jennings, Tyge Watts, Hannah Watts, Noah Watts, Seth Watts, Finn Havn, and Kai Havn; great-great granddaughter, Rylie Cullen; special niece, Donna Bell.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Trieber; sisters, Alfrieda Janot, Borghilde Ruilmann, Mildred Bell; brother, Edwin Hostad.
Funeral Services for Dorothy will be held on Saturday February 20, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Calvary Memorial Church with Pastor Nathan James officiating. Relatives and friends may meet with the family from 9:30 AM until the time of service. Dorothy will be buried at West Lawn memorial Park following the service. In honor of Dorothy memorials may be directed to Calvary Memorial Church or Wheaton Franciscan Hospice. Condolences may be expressed at www.wilsonfuneralhomeracine.com
