The young couple who built their home across the circle from us became the best neighbors a person could ask for. Our daughter babysat for them, and she and Donna became good friends. Donna was Matron of Honor at her wedding. Katy was flower girl and Adam ring bearer.
Another fond memory is her gardening. I looked forward each spring and summer to tours through her flower garden and I was always in awe of her flowers - the amount and the variety. Amazing.
One of my favorite memories was her artistic ability. She painted the windows and dorrs of a wooden church my husband made for our daughter's wedding. The she painted the face on a rocking horse he made for grandkids. I have Christmas wreaths, cross stitching she did - so much talent.
And of course I remember her baking. I could look forward every Christmas to a lovely tin of Christmas cookies. What a delight.
Thank you Donna. Lovely memories. My deepest sympathy to all your family. I shall miss you so much.
