Donna Lynn Hansen's Obituary
Donna Lynn Hansen, age 86, of Racine, passed away peacefully on January 26, 2026.
Donna was born on October 13, 1939, in Racine, the beloved daughter of the late Vernon and Elva Molitor. On June 27, 1959, she was united in marriage to Karl Hansen. Together they shared many wonderful years and cherished memories until Karl’s passing on May 31, 2006.
Donna dedicated much of her life to caring for and teaching children. She was a teacher at Small World Montessori School, where her patience and gentle spirit touched many young lives. A faithful member of Gethsemane Lutheran Church, Donna taught Sunday school and actively participated in Bible studies, finding great joy and comfort in her faith.
In her free time, Donna enjoyed sewing and hand quilting, creating beautiful pieces that reflected her care and creativity. She also loved camping and spending time with her family

Donna will be dearly missed by her loving children: Pamela (Jeff) Nielsen, Steve (Judy) Hansen, and Doug Hansen; her grandchildren: Brandon (Cydney) Hansen, Benjamen (Alexus) Hansen, Jacqueline (Zachary) Bado, Allison Hansen, and Daniel Hansen; and great-grandchildren: James, Cole, and Peyton Hansen. She is further survived by her sister, Marion (Bill) Behling; sister-in-law, Carol (Al) Nelson, along with many other relatives and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Karl; her brothers, Graham (Nancy) Molitor and Norman “Red” (Ellen) Molitor; and her in-laws.
Visitation will be held at Wilson Funeral Home on Friday, February 6, from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m., with a service to follow.
