Donald Luedtke,'s Obituary
Mr. Luedtke, 72, passed away at Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare/All Saints on Sunday, December 7, 2008. He was born in Racine, on May 17, 1936 to the late Frank E. and Josephine (nee: Kannenberg) Luedtke, Jr. He lived all of his life in Racine County.
He served in the United States Army in Korea. He was employed at J.I. Case Co, for 30 years, retiring June 2000. He was a member of the VFW.
He is survived by his children, Robin (Bill) Eakins, Daren Luedtke, Heidi (John) Schwedler, Donald F. Luedtke, Jr, Grant (Jeanne) Luedtke, Vern Luedtke, twelve grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, two sisters, Dorothy (Richard) Rognsvoog, Mickey Cunningham, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Luedtke.
Funeral services will be held at the Wilson Funeral Home 1212 Lathrop Ave, on Thursday, Dec. 11, 2008 at 10 a.m. with Rev. Jane Mathison officiating. Interment will follow at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Park. Friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Thursday from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
