Diane Cain's Obituary
Mrs. Diane L. Cain, 49, went to sleep on October 1, 2010, awaiting the Lord's return.
Diane was born in Oak Park, Illinois to Ronald and Elaine (nee: Eckman) Brown on March 4, 1961 and had lived in Racine for 21 years. She was united in marriage to Vincent R. Cain on August 21, 1980.
Diane was a strong Christian and a member of Seventh Day Adventist Church. She was a modest person who was well loved and respected. She had a creative and caring spirit. She loved animals and children loved her. Diane had a giving heart. She wrote many letters to her church family and friends. Her home was a showcase of flowers and she shared the bounty of her garden with her neighbors. She enjoyed cooking and baking. She was also an avid speed reader.
Diane is survived by her husband, Vincent; their daughter, Erica, her parents, Ronald and Elaine Brown; her maternal grandmother, Louise Eckman; her sister, Denise (David) Rivers; nieces, Tamara, Dyana, Laura, and Hannah; her husband's parents, Iris Cain and Richard Heyde; two brothers-in-law, David and Vernon Cain, niece, Jennifer; one sister-in-law, Brenda Cain, nieces, Katy and Jenny (Jason); many other relatives and friends. Her beloved companions, Victor, Kirby and Jasmine. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Glen and Ronald, Jr.
A memorial ceremony will take place at the Seventh Day Adventist Church 1810 Durand Ave, Racine, 53403 on October 9, 2010 at 10:45 a.m. with Pastor Carlos Ancheta officiating. Diane donated too many charities; memorials may be directed in her name to the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
