Racine - Mrs. Deloris Jenevieve (nee: Krezinski) Lloyd, 87, passed away at Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare-All Saints on Monday morning, February 20, 2012.
Deloris was born in Beaver Dam on July 19, 1924, to the late John J. and Elsie I. (nee: Searvogel) Krezinski and lived in Racine most of her life. She was united in marriage to Uriah Robert Lloyd on October 25, 1941 in Dubuque, Iowa. He preceded her in death on July 15, 2003.
Deloris and Uriah enjoyed life together with their family. She was especially proud of all her grandchildren. Even though she was diabetic, she would always bake goods for the family. Deloris and Uriah often traveled in their motor home throughout the United States. She also enjoyed flower gardening.
Deloris will be dearly missed by her children, Sheila Johnson, Thomas (Diane) Lloyd, Sharon Roberts, Jeffrey (Sheri) Lloyd, Mark Lloyd, Jerrold (Renee) Lloyd, Donald (Sandra) Lloyd, Peggy Sue (Joel) Klausch, Pamela Lloyd, and Jacqueline (Brian) Woiteshek; 25 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Edward (Lois) Krezinski, Joseph Krezinski, and Michael Krezinski; sisters-in-law, Nancy Krezinski and Patricia Krezinski, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Denise Joy Lloyd and six brothers, John Krezinski, Kenneth Krezinski, Vincent Krezinski, Myran Krezinski, Robert Krezinski, and Nicholas Krezinski.
Funeral services will be held at Wilson Funeral Home on Friday, February 24, 2012 at 11am. Entombment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. Friends may meet the family at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 6 until 8pm and on Friday from 10am until the time of services. Memorials in honor of Deloris may be directed to the American Diabetes Association.
