Debra Jane Hansen's Obituary
Debra Jane Hansen (née Zimmer), age 68, passed away on January 13, 2026.
Debra was born on March 2, 1957, in Racine, Wisconsin, to Charles and Virgina Zimmer (née Cottingham). She was united in marriage to Anthony Hansen on June 30, 1984, in Racine, where they built a life together filled with love, family, and lasting memories.
Debra worked as a CNC operator for 37 years at Petersen Products, before retiring in March of 2014. Outside of work, she found joy in bowling, camping, traveling, and especially spending time with her family. Family gatherings were dear to her heart, and she cherished every moment shared with loved ones.
Debra will be deeply missed by her loving husband, Anthony Hansen; her mother, Virgina Zimmer; her brothers, Richard (Sandy) Zimmer and Steve (Terry) Zimmer; her sister, Barb Vollmer; her sisters-in-law: Cheryl Zimmer, Sue (Tim) Street, Cheryl Hansen, and Linda Hansen Schuett; along with many other relatives and friends whose lives she touched.
She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Zimmer; her grandparents; her beloved pets, Max, Sam, and Charlie; her brothers-in-law, Paul Hansen, Gene Hansen, and Jim Hansen; her sister-in-law, Sis Hansen; and her parents-in-law, Harold and Janice Hansen.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Compassus hospice and her doctors at Ascension and Froedtert for their compassionate care and support.
Services will be held on Friday, January 23, 2026, at Wilson Funeral Home. Visitation will take place from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M., with a memorial service to follow.
Debra will be remembered for her kindness and the love she shared so freely with those around her.
