David Leo Sorenson's Obituary
RACINE—David Leo Sorenson, 79, passed away peacefully on November 14, 2014.
David was born on September 28, 1935 to the late Clarence and Genevieve (nee: Navarre) Sorenson in Sturgeon Bay, WI. He was united in marriage to Marjorie Elaine Kusters on July 25, 1959 in Racine. David served in the US Army and worked at Western Publishing.
David was a ‘Jack of all trades’. He could repair almost anything. He was well known as the ‘TV Man’. David was a man of many hobbies. He loved quizzing people and when you spoke with him, you always learned something. David also enjoyed all different types of music.
David will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 55 years, Margie; his children, David (Michele) Sorenson Jr., Glenn Sorenson, Robert (MariBeth) Sorenson, Theresa (Michael) Mooney, Michele (Patrick Marsolek) Sorenson, Ryan Sorenson, and Marcus Sorenson; grandchildren, Joseph, Jennifer, Kenneth, Michael, Patrick (Morgan), Timothy, Jessica, Tiffany, Dillon, Miranda, and Amanda; great-grandchildren, Sierra, Madisyn, and Willow; sister, Mary Rose (John) Polcin; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Kenneth (Veronica) Kusters, and Sherry (Mel) Wifler.
Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the Wilson Funeral Home on Thursday evening, November 20, 2014 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM. The Celebration of David’s Life will start at 6:00 PM.
