David Edward Lasko's Obituary
David E. Lasko, age 35, passed away unexpectedly on December 16, 2017.
David was born in Racine to Gary and Diane (nee Thompson) Lasko on March 2, 1982. He was united in marriage to Laura Juarez on December 5, 2013 in Adams/Friendship, WI.
David was one to enjoy the outdoors from fishing, camping and swimming to taking walks in the woods appreciating the animals and nature. He loved computer games, cards and chess. He would also take delight to playing guitar, singing karaoke and teaching himself to play the piano. David enjoyed rummage sales and took pleasure in cooking, especially lasagna.
David will be dearly missed by his wife, Laura; parents, Gary and Diane; one brother and two sisters: Rich (Jackie) Lasko, Sharon (Rob) Olson and Barbara (Weylin) Scott; father-in-law, Marcelo Juarez; mother-in-law, Aurora Jimenez; two brothers-in-law, Edmundo and Dalia Juarez; aunts and uncles: Bruce and April Lasko, Richard and Marsha Hansen, Rudy and Mona Collum, Ray and Linda Thompson, and Robert and Lynette Thompson; nieces and nephews: Ashley Brittany, Taylor, Emily, Nick, Aubree, Janessa and Waylon; great nieces and nephews: Skylar, Itzayana, Daniel, Belem, Tony and Damien; his cat, Muffy; and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Nicholas and Betty Lasko; grandparents, Martha and Lester Moen; maternal grandparents, Raymond and Dorothy Thompson; Guadalupe Juarez, Cesilia Juarez, Consuelo and Dolores Jimenez; and aunt and uncle, Dennis and Diane Lasko.
A celebration of David’s life will be held on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home. A time of visitation will be held on Saturday, December 23, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Inurnment will take place at West Lawn Memorial Park at the convenience of the family.
