After selling his business, retirement never suited him, and he continued sharing his knowledge as a consultant. He was an active member of the National Tile Contractors Association and served as President of the Ceramic Tile Education Foundation in South Carolina for more than a decade, helping educate and mentor countless professionals throughout the industry.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, David embraced life with enthusiasm. He loved riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle and was a proud member of the Harley Owners Group (H.O.G.). An avid NASCAR fan, he rarely missed a race and could be found cheering on his favorite drivers every Sunday.
