David William Brehm's Obituary
David William Brehm passed away peacefully on May 14, 2017 in Honolulu, Hawaii.
David was born to John and Genevieve “Jean” (nee Dorf) Brehm on July 22, 1964 in Racine, WI. He was a 1982 graduate of St. Catherine’s High School. David lived in Hawaii for many years.
David was an avid sports fan. He loved the Milwaukee Brewers and the Green Bay Packers. In his younger days, he had a passion for playing baseball and basketball. David liked to fish, enjoyed spending time at the beach, and loved to watch the beautiful Hawaiian sunset. He was very fond of rock ‘n roll music. One of his favorite bands was Led Zeppelin. David had a great sense of humor and a loving personality.
David is survived by his loving mother, Genevieve Brehm; siblings: Ann (Jim) Kapellusch, Edward (Elizabeth) Brehm, Thomas (Denise) Brehm, and Joan Ogura; nieces and nephews: John (Meg) Kapellusch, Lauren Kapellusch, Evan Brehm, Connor Brehm, Catelyn Brehm, T.J. Brehm, and Jessica Ogura; Great-niece: Genevieve Kapellusch; and great-nephews: John Kapellusch and Michael Kapellusch, as well as many other relatives and friends.
David was preceded in death by his father, John Brehm, and his infant sister, Susan Brehm.
In accordance to David’s wishes, private services were held at Holy Cross Cemetery with Fr. Terry Langley officiating. The family has requested memorials in David’s name to be directed to St. Catherine’s High School or the American Heart Association.
