Daniel Christopher Johnson's Obituary
Racine-Daniel Christopher Johnson, 62, passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2022, at Ascension All Saints surrounded by his family that he dearly loved.
Dan was born to the late Daniel W. and Margaret (nee Stueber) Johnson on September 7, 1959, in Milwaukee. He worked as a machine operator at Harley Davidson for 25 years.
Dan’s passion was riding his Harley on the back roads of Wisconsin whenever he was able. For most of his life you would find a dog by his side as he enjoyed his other hobbies of working on cars, camping, and fishing. His great sense of humor and storytelling, which kept everyone laughing, is his legacy that will long be remembered by his family, friends and Harley co-workers.
Dan will be deeply missed by his sister, Susan Parker; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert and Katherine Francour; niece, Jennifer Brader; nephews: Luke and his wife, Rachael (nee Koechell) Adams, Benjamin Adams, Elijah Francour, Nolan Francour, and Julian Francour; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jason and Erin Francour; and all the Harley Davidson family.
Dan is predeceased by his former wife, Jodi Johnson.
A celebration of Dan’s life will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2022, from 3:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. at the Wilson Funeral Home. Memorials in Dan’s name may be directed to the Cancer Society (https://www.cancer.org/) and/or the Wisconsin Humane Society Racine Campus (8900 16th St, Mt Pleasant, WI 53177). Dan’s final resting place will be at West Lawn Memorial Park.
