Dale Summerford's Obituary
Racine- Mr. Dale W. Summerford, 50, passed away at his residence on March 11, 2011.
Dale was born to Floyd Summerford and Florine (nee: Siverly) Summerford-Bearden on October 13, 1960 and lived his entire life in Racine.
He recently graduated college as a CNC Machinist and was known as an avid bowler and sports fan who loved the Packers, Brewers and NASCAR. Other hobbies included travel, especially to Las Vegas, and cookouts. But most of all, he loved his family and was known as a man with a "heart of gold".
Dale will be dearly missed by his mother, Florine; brothers, David and Daniel (Heather); sister, Mary; nieces and nephews, Jill, Dawn, Savanna, Ashley, Makayla, Cashmere, Alana, Dashaun, Jaliyah, Aaron, Jeremy, Jonathan, Austin, Amber, and Andrew; best friends, Tommy D., Todd, Tony, Tarz, and Ken as well as numerous cousins and other good friends.
He was preceded in death by his fathers, Floyd Summerford and John Bearden; and his sister, Debra Summerford.
Funeral Services in memory of Dale will be held at Wilson Funeral Home on Thursday,
March 17, 2011 at 11:00am with Pastor Frank Williams officiating. Interment will be at West Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet the family on Wednesday, March 16, 2011 from 6-8pm and again on Thursday from 10am until the time of service.
Memorials in honor of Dale may be directed to the family.
