Dale Clifford LaFever Jr.'s Obituary
Friendship, WI-Dale Clifford LaFever Jr., 68, formerly of Racine, passed away at home on Friday, July 10, 2020.
Dale was born in Racine to the late Dale Sr. and Audrey (nee: Anderson) LaFever on March 20, 1952. He was united in marriage to Linda Deahl on May 11, 1991, at Faith Lutheran Church in Sturtevant.
Dale worked as a restaurant manager for several restaurants for over 30 years. Some of the restaurants he worked at were Scanda House in Milwaukee, Milwaukee Truck Stop, and different Arby’s restaurants in the Racine, Kenosha, and Milwaukee areas. Dale loved to hunt and fish. He enjoyed cooking and baking. He was an avid Green Bay Packers fan. Dale also liked to bowl. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family.
Left to cherish Dale’s memory is his loving wife, Linda; children: Wendy (Phu) Nyguen, Thomas (Nicole) LaFever, Angela Dietz, and Jack Holling; three brothers: David (Jennifer Leviseur) LaFever, James LaFever, and Kevin (Laurie) LaFever; three sisters: Carol (Roland) Morales, Margaret Marquez, and Lori Martinsen; aunts and uncles: Lory (Marv) McCray and Jerry (Carolyn) Anderson; 13 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Dale is preceded in death by his son, Brian LaFever; brothers: Joel and Charles LaFever; sisters: Debbie Darracott and Joan Evans.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Dale at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church on Thursday, July 16, 2020, at 10:00 AM. Family and friends are invited to a time of visitation at the Wilson Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 15, 2020 from 5:30 PM until 7:00 PM. Anyone planning on attending Dale’s services whether at the church or funeral home will be required to wear a face covering/mask upon entering the church or funeral home. For the visitation, only 50 people will be allowed to enter the funeral home at a time. Guests may be required to wait outside until others leave the funeral home. Dale will be laid to rest at Graceland Cemetery.
