Cynthia Barkley's Obituary
Mrs. Barkley, 56, passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at Wheaton Franciscan/All Saints. She was born in Racine on March 17, 1952 to Frederick and Margaret (nee:Clemnensen) Anderson. She lived all of her life in Racine. She was united in marriage to James J. Barkley in Racine on July 26, 1986.
She was employed at S.C. Johnson for 38 years as a security administrator. She attended Racine Bible Church. She loved her family and enjoyed playing table games and scrap booking.
She is survived by her cherished husband; James J. Barkley, her children; Anne Barkley, Tina (Chris) Green, Trina (Mark) Kuster, Jeremiah (Sue) Barkley, Jodi (Chris) Garcia, sixteen grandchildren; Daryll, Krystal, Christopher, Trenton, Elizabeth, Nichole, Kaylee, Brianna, Jacob, Cassie, Alissa, Harley, Gabby, Jeremiah, Alyssa, Anthony, two-great-grandchildren; Gage and Mason, one sister and brother-in-law; Kathy (Ron) Blodgett, brother-in-law and sister-in-law; Dennis and Nancy Barkley, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by a brother, Warren Anderson in 2006.
Funeral services will be held at Racine Bible Church 12505 Spring St; on Monday, April 14, 2008 at 11 a.m. Entombment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. Friends may meet with the family at the Wilson Funeral Home 1212 Lathrop Ave., on Sunday, April 13, 2008 from 3-5 p.m. and at the church on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
Memorials in memory of Cynthia to the American Diabetes Association have been suggested.
