Constance Schrader's Obituary
Racine – Constance Ann Schrader, 92, passed away at St. Monica's Senior Citizen Home on Saturday, January 12, 2013.
Connie was born in Racine to Anthony and Emma (nee: Kwapil) George on December 25, 1920. In Racine, she was united in marriage to William P. "Bud" Schrader on October 31, 1942. He preceded her in death on August 1, 2001.
Connie worked part time as a bookkeeper at Marigold Dairy and then at J.I. Case in the accounting department for over 15 years, retiring in 1984. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. She enjoyed all the times she had spent with her siblings, children, grandchildren, extended family and friends and loved them all.
Connie will be dearly missed by her children, Tom (Monica Jaehnig) Schrader of Madison, Suellen (Ed) Shapero of Seattle, and Betsy (Steve) Anderson of Racine; grandchildren, Cyndi, Chris, Jessica, Jenna, Kristin, Morgan and Stacey; six great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Jean George; many nieces, nephews and friends; and her cat, "Kitty". She was also preceded in death by four brothers, Leo, Matt, Dick and Don and three sisters, Florence, Lois and Jane.
A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 1533 Erie Street, on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at 11:00 AM with Father Steve Varghese celebrating. Relatives and friends may meet with the family from 10:00 AM until the 11:00 Mass time. Memorials may be directed to either St. Monica's Senior Citizen Home or St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
