Constance Regina Broemer's Obituary
Constance Regina Broemer passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at the age of 79.
In Racine, Connie was born to John and Regina (nee Kurosky) Rudin on April 10, 1937. She graduated from St. Catherine’s High School in 1956 and retired from St. Luke’s Hospital where she worked in Central Supply.
Connie was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. She was a devoted Catholic and prayer was very important to her. Hence, Connie was a great caregiver, especially to her mother. She was also very generous to others. One could not leave her house without Connie giving something to them. For fun, she enjoyed day trips to the casino with her friends.
Connie will be dearly missed by her cousins: Dennis (Diane) Seymour, Vicki Kalkopf and Barbara Anderson; and special friends and neighbors. She will also be missed by her furry companion, Tippy. Connie was preceded in death by her father, John Rudin; mother, Regina Zaremba; and step-father, Joseph Zaremba.
Services in honor of Connie will be held at the Wilson Funeral Home on Thursday morning, February 23, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. A committal service will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet with the family from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Memorials may be directed to St. Paul the Apostle or Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate.
Special thanks to the third floor staff of ICU and the hospice care team of Ascension All Saints Hospital for their compassion and kindness given to Connie and her family.
