Clifford Charles Miller's Obituary
Mount Pleasant – Clifford Charles Miller, 91, passed away on April 20, 2024, surrounded by his family at Ascension All Saints in Racine.
Clifford was born to the late Harold and Gertrude Miller on September 2, 1932, in Racine, Wisconsin. He was united in marriage to Coleen Reinke on June 30, 1956, in Augusta, Wisconsin. They were married for 63 years until Coleen’s passing in July of 2019.
Clifford spent his boyhood exploring the banks of the Root River and had many colorful tales of the shenanigans he and his pals were involved in. He spent time racing small speed boats and was a Golden Gloves boxer in the Racine-Kenosha area. His interest changed to Motorcycle racing and his natural talent led him to become State of Wisconsin Scrambles champion in 1955 and 1956 in his class.
Clifford spent most of his career working for Horlicks Malted Milk before becoming an OTR truck driver. Amazingly he built both of the homes he raised his family in. He resided in his second home until his passing.
Clifford will be deeply missed by his sons: Randolph Miller (Lynne) and Scott Miller (Janice); grandsons: Conner Miller and Carson Miller; granddaughters, Kendra Miller and Michelle Noel; great-grandson, Maxwell Noel; sister, Lois Rose; daughter-in-law, Denise Miller; as well as may other relatives and friends.
Clifford was preceded in death by his son, Steve Miller.
According to Clifford’s wishes, cremation will take place and no services will be held.
