Clifford George Hawkins' Obituary
Racine - Clifford George Hawkins, age 85, passed away on January 7, 2025. He was born in Ashland, Wisconsin on June 22, 1939, to the late George and Louella (nee Johnson) Hawkins. Clifford was united in marriage to Judith Northouse on October 16, 1976. Judith preceded him in death on December 8, 2008.
Clifford devoted over 20 years of his life to Eckmann Pressed Metals, where he retired at the age of 62. A man who loved the outdoors, he was an avid hunter, fisherman, and sportsman, with a deep passion for nature and the adventure it offered. His love of the outdoors extended to his involvement in several local organizations, including the Moose Club, Racine Instinctive Bowmen, and Little Jon's Archery.
Above all, Clifford was a family man. He will be deeply missed by his children, Terri (R. Christopher) Sharp, Susan (Dan) Jilek, and Michael (Barb) Hawkins. He leaves behind a legacy of love through his grandchildren, William (Monica) Sharp, Alex (Sarah) Sharp, Ben Sharp, Emily (Zach) Luhman, Nicole (Nate) Smith, Trevor Jilek, and Alisha Hawkins, as well as his great-grandchildren, Bradon, Amelia, Ryan, Charlotte, Gavin, Carson, Emerson, and Amara, and his great-great-grandson, Kaydon. He is also survived by his brother, George Hawkins Jr.
In addition to his parents and wife, Clifford was preceded in death by his brother Gerald Hawkins.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Home Harbor Assisted Living and Ridgewood Care Center for the compassionate care they showed Clifford.
