Clarence Weisner's Obituary
Kenosha - Clarence Edmond Weisner, 96, went to be with his Lord on Saturday, January 19, 2008, at Alterra Clairbridge in Kenosha.
Clarence E. Weisner was born in Racine to the late Adolph and Pauline (nee: Schultz) Weisner on September 27, 1911. Clarence was a life long resident of Racine. In Racine, he was united in marriage to Gladys Edmonston on October 20, 1948. She preceded him in death on November 27, 1987. He then married Dorothy Huige Smith in Racine on December 31, 1988, who also preceded him in death on January 18, 2003.
Mr. Weisner was a member of the Racine Bible Church and was involved in various senior groups. He was a self-employed decorator for 30 years retiring in 1972. He enjoyed flowers and model trains.
Clarence is survived by his niece, Nancy (Vern) Myhre of Athens, Tennessee; a great nephew, Kevin (Cathy) Myhre of Sweetwater, Tennessee; his step children, Loleene (Landon) Edwards of Union Grove, Sandy (Phil) Kays of Portland, Oregon, Marlene (Bill) Whiteaker of Illinois, and Dorothy Rognerud of Denver, Colorado; nine step grandchildren; and 17 step great grandchildren. In addition to his parents and his first and second wives, he was preceded in death by his sister, Mildred Mandrey, and a step son-in-law, Dennis Rognerud.
Funeral services will be held at the Wilson Funeral Home on Thursday, January 24, 2008 at 2 pm with Rev. John Miesel officiating. Private entombment will be held at West Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friend may meet with the family at the funeral home on Thursday afternoon from 1 pm until service time. Memorial may be directed to the Racine Bible Church or to the radio station WVCY, Milwaukee.
