Cheryl Povkovich's Obituary
Racine - Mrs. Cheryl Ann Povkovich (nee: Novine), 50, passed away at her home on Tuesday, March 13, 2007.
Cheryl was born in Racine on January 23, 1957 to Elaine (nee: Kroll) and the late Patrick Novine. In Racine, she was united in marriage to Michael Povkovich on November 29, 1992.
Mrs. Povkovich was a member of Gethsemane Evangelical Lutheran Church. She was employed by Insinkerator for 30 years until December 2006. She was a member of the Insinkerator 10 Year Club.
Cheryl is survived by her husband, Michael; her son, Michael; her mother, Elaine Novine; one brother, Kevin (Bonnie) Novine; two sisters, Laurie (Ed) Congdon and Cathy (Michael) McMullen; 3 sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Leslie (Bob) Mudge, Judy (Tom) Gottfredsen, and Jane (Joe) Rock. Nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive. She was preceded in death by a brother, Patrick.
Funeral services will be held at the Wilson Funeral Home on Friday morning, March 16, 2007 at 11am with Rev. Albert Guetzlaff officiating. Entombment will follow at the West Lawn Memorial Park Garden Court Crypts. Relatives and friends may meet with the family for visitation at the funeral home on Thursday evening, March 15, 2007 from 4 until 8 pm.
