Charles Allan Sargent's Obituary
Racine--Charles Allan Sargent, age 86, of Racine passed away on Saturday, July 30, 2016 at Kenosha Estates.
Charles was born in Kenosha to the late Floyd and Alice (nee Cornwell) Sargent. He was educated in local schools. Charles proudly served his country in the United States Air Force from 1951 to 1955. He worked at Horst Music for a number of years.
Charles was a “fixer-upper” and repaired TVs and other electronics, and worked on musical instruments. He enjoyed wildlife and was an avid gardener. In his youth, he spent many hours roller skating at Reggie’s Rollerina.
Left to cherish his memory are his siblings: Geraldine (Kenneth) Rannow, Arlene (Tim) Nelson, Shirley (Don) Kerkman, Bruce (Sue) Sargent, Dennis (Nancy) Sargent, and Kerry Sargent; nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Charles is further survived by a special friend, RoseMarie Troestler and family.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers: Randall and Dale Sargent.
Funeral services for Charles will be held on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home. There will be a time of visitation at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be held at West Lawn Memorial Park.
