Charles G. "Chuck" "Uncle Moon" LaFever's Obituary
Racine- Charles G. LaFever, 51, passed away unexpectedly at home on Saturday, June 09, 2012 of natural causes.
Chuck was born in Racine to the late Dale LaFever Sr. and Audrey (nee: Anderson) LaFever on November 11, 1960 and had lived his entire life in Racine.
He was employed by Ganton/Intermet for over 20 years. Chuck was a devoted brother, brother-in-law, godfather, uncle and friend. His hobbies included gardening, baking, fishing, and hunting. He was also an avid Denver Broncos, Milwaukee Bucks, and New York Yankees fan. But, the most important part of his life was spending time with his family. Family meant the world to Chuck.
Left to cherish his memories are his four brothers; Dale (Linda) LaFever Jr., David (Jennifer Leviseur) LaFever, James LaFever, and Kevin (Laurie) LaFever; four sisters, Debbie (Jamie) Darracott, Carol (Roland) Morales, Margaret Marquez, and Lori Martinsen; two god-children, Shaun LaFever and Briana Martinsen; aunts and uncles, Lory (Marv) McCray and Jerry (Carolyn) Anderson;146 nieces and nephews; special friends Mark (Nikki) Tarwid, and his beloved canine son "Bear".
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, Alfred and Grace Anderson; brother, Joel LaFever; sister, Joan Evans; brothers-in-law, Jens Martinsen and Lewis Marquez Sr.; and nephews, Keller McQuay and Brian LaFever.
Funeral services in honor of Chuck will be held at Wilson Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 11:00am. Interment will be at Graceland Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Wednesday at 9:00am until the time of service.
