Carol Mae Haluska's Obituary
Racine – Carol Mae Haluska (nee Malmstadt), 90, passed away peacefully on Sunday evening, July 27, 2025.
Carol lived a full life, raising her family, still seeing high school friends, making towels for everyone, playing cards, doing crossword puzzles, and was an avid reader.
Carol’s parents are Lester and Carolyn Malmstadt. She attended St. Mary’s and Holy Name Parochial School and St. Catherine’s High School, graduate of 1953. Carol worked at the Canteen, Goldblatts, and Lincoln Lutheran of Racine.
Carol married Bernie Schultz in October of 1953. Their son, Steve, was born on an Air Force Base in Kansas. Their daughter, Teresa, was born in Racine. Carol has 6 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, many nephews, and nieces, cousins, and friends. Her sister, Susan Malmstadt of Greely, CO, and Tricia Malmstadt of Racine survive her. Her brother, Dennis of NJ and GA, preceded her in death in 2001.
Carol married Rudy Haluska in 1984. He preceded her in death in 2019.
Carol’s forever love was Elvis! She was the #1 fan. She saw Graceland for her 60th birthday. She was over the moon for that man and his music.
Rest in peace, our dear Auntie C.
