Brian Robert Warzala's Obituary
Brian Robert Warzala, 47, passed away at his home on Wednesday, March 15, 2018. Brian was born in Milwaukee on August 28, 1970, to Robert & Darlene (nee: Privatt) Warzala. He worked at Mano Fencing for several years constructing fences.
Brian was honored to volunteer at the Racine County Veteran’s Memorial at Pritchard Park. He enjoyed heavy metal music and played the bass guitar, even playing in a band many years ago. Brian had a special bond with animals, especially dogs. Most importantly, he had a deep love for his children, nieces, and nephews. Brian will be dearly missed by his family.
Left to cherish Brian’s memory is his daughter, Randi Meinert; mother, Darlene Warzala; father, Robert Warzala; sister, Pam (Mike Knapp) Warzala Knapp; brother, Ben (Karissa) Warzala; many aunts and uncles, including MaryLou (Phil) Mijokivic; nieces and nephews: Amber Schemenauer, Taylor Schulz, and Isaiah Warzala; great nieces: Ella Kogutkiewicz and Lily Moore; as well as his beloved dog, Abby.
Brian is preceded in death by his son, LCpl. Jacob A. Meinert of the USMC who was KIA on January 10, 2010, in Afghanistan; maternal grandparents, Kathleen (Melvin) Privatt; and paternal grandparents, Mary Jane (David) Warzala.
A brief committal service for Brian will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, March 22, 2018, at West Lawn Memorial Park. Family and friends may meet at the entrance at the cemetery and will process to the grave from there. The family suggests memorials in Brian’s name to NAMI (2300 De Koven Ave, Racine, WI 53403) or the Humane Society of Racine (2706 Chicory Rd, Racine, WI 53403).
Brian’s family would like to give a special thank you to AA and the many friends who supported Brian during his struggles. The family would also like to give a special thank you to Missy Wells, a loved and cherished friend who gave much support to Brain and his family.
