Brian William Kristopeit's Obituary
Brian W. Kristopeit, age 80, passed away peacefully on February 5, 2026, in Pleasant Prairie. Brian was born on April 24, 1945, in Exeter Devon, England, to the late Walter and Elsie Kristopeit (née Baker).
Brian married the love of his life, Mary, on July 1, 1995, in Racine, beginning a lifelong partnership filled with love and shared memories. He spent over 40 years working at SC Johnson Wax before retiring.
Brian had a deep appreciation for the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and cherished time spent up north in Eagle River and at Fence Lake. A fan of classic cars, Brian enjoyed attending and participating in car shows. He was an avid cribbage player. He loved archery and trapshooting and was a proud member of the Wisconsin Sportsman Association. Brian and Mary especially enjoyed spending their winters in Florida.
Brian will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Mary Kristopeit (née Yopp); his children, Scott (Diane Billmyer) Kristopeit and Leasa (Jon) Elwood; and his cherished grandchildren, Nathan, Gabby, and Kieran. He is further survived by many other family members and friends who will fondly remember his warmth and passions.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Pam Kristopeit, and his brothers, Bill and Chuck Kristopeit.
